I think Haase is making a big mistake not putting at least one former Stanford player or coach on his staff.  I hope he can course correct after the first year or two.  I really think this is essential to not only recruiting but rebuilding the fan base.

To a first approximation, I am inclined to agree with you.  However, I will say that the first through fifth most important things for rebuilding the fan base are wins.  Nobody will care that we have Raveno on staff if we have a 15-win season next year; likewise, everyone will be be perfectly happy with Wulburn, Pruitt, and Cohen if we have 25-wins and a sweet sixteen appearance.

But yeah, I was kind of hoping Raveno would be part of the staff.
