Kawakami is a hack.  He does have some good insights, but he also makes himself look foolish when speculating about Chip Kelly as a NFL head coach candidate, notwithstanding whatever he thinks about Shaw.  At least Shaw has NFL experience and runs an NFL offense.  But it is frankly ridiculous for him to suggest a guy that played for Stanford would think about leaving for the NFL.

I can't think of a single example of a head coach that played for his school, leaving for the NFL.  Why not mention Mike Gundy, Kawakami, if you're going to mention Kelly and Shaw?
