Your point holds though - Oregon scored more points against Stanford in 2015 than any other opponent.
Against Oregon we scored very close to our season average of 37.8 points while their offense performed much better than the average Stanford opponent. For the year Stanford had a 22.6 points against average. The next highest scores against Stanford were UFDFG (36) and UCLA (35).
I'm sure advanced stats that take game flow into account would be helpful - perhaps showing points per drive and so on but the overall point that Oregon's offense was just good enough to compensate for a mediocre defense was proven against an elite Stanford team - at our place. (That one still burns deep.)
By the way, isn't that catholic school UDFG? What does the new replacement acronym stand for? I suppose I can guess ...
