Fact: Solomon Thomas disrupted and caused havoc virtually every snap he played in the Spring practice I attended. He was the best player on the field.
Fact:Â If Harrison Phillips is close to as disruptive as Thomas, any OL integrating 3 new starters would struggle with them in training camp.Â
Assumption: Stanford's OL will have practiced against better DL competition than KSU has faced in its practices, and Stanford will benefit from this when the teams play. It might not be a gigantic edge, but it's an edge, and in highly competitive sports like college football, the margins between winning and losing are usually pretty small.
