Are you guys trying to make DC Cat's head explode by saying nice things about an opponent.  Don't you know that such things are not supposed to happen on an internet message board?

I appreciate it more than anything. Trash talk can be fun, but I truly enjoy the sport. If we weren't playing each other this year, I'd probably be cheering you guys on. Honestly, since we are playing you I want you to win all of your games (just not your first one haha).

I'm sure that we can miff their fans easily enough.  Maybe the Band can resurrect the Rose Bowl halftime show.  Just replace the corn costume with a wheat stalk.  We'll see if the K State fans understand the humor better than the Hawkeye fans did.

I am not sure if you heard about last year's debacle with our band. They won the Sudler trophy the summer before the season and planned a big show for the first game. The show was Star Wars and Star Trek themed. I enjoyed the show, but unfortunately at one point they had the Enterprise fly at our main rival's mascot. Some people thought it looked like we were depicting an adult act and the situation went viral. As long as you weren't being mean spirited, we would definitely enjoy a jab from your band.
