A bit OT, but I have a good feeling that watching our talent at DB is going to be very special in the next two years. Prior to the last several years, talented DBs at Stanford were few and far between by my recollection. Can anyone remember another time we had this much talent and depth in a secondary?
The only other year that comes close that I can recall was in 2013 we ran with Reynolds, Richards, Brown, and Carter, which is arguably superior at both safety positions and potentially one cornerback position, though I'd argue that as a sophomore Meeks is superior to Carter. That group was lacking in depth behind the starters, which is extremely important in this age of the spread and having the nickel be essential a base defense.
