Hodson can redshirt.  However people get confused. If a medical redshirt she also can't practice the rest of the season. In other words truly out for the season
Then you have the 2020 Olympics. If she thinks she has a shot and she just spent her would have been Sr year of HS with the national team then why would she play a 5th year at Stanford.
