(NCAA site is down at this moment, so I can't look them up.)
I didn't see too many other calls that I disagreed with. On the 5th point of set 3 (1:15 of broadcast), we hit a ball that bounced at the judge's feet and she called it long, but it was clearly in.  The second Washington setter #22 did a one-handed set well above the top of the net (4th set 7-9) when she was in the back row. I thought that was illegal, but again I don't know the rules that well. But all in all, a good officiating job I thought.
A back row setter can set the ball above the net as long as the ball is on their side of the court. The setter becomes a blocker or attacker if an opposing player touches the ball while the setter is attempting to set which then the setter becomes an illegal player.Â
I am not too sure about the other two. I believe the ball is consider out of play once it makes contact with an official.Â
This team is definitely exciting to watch. Lots of talent and potential. The future looks bright for Stanford Womenʻs Vball. Hopefully Haley is recovering well.
