What I am having a harder time understanding is our ineptitude on the OL. The Huskies DL was just killing us - pass rush, plugging the run, you name it - they did it. Does anyone have any detailed views on why things went the way they did? Scheme, mismatches, other?
Shawgren's stupid Hall-Tucker experiment is what killed the OL.
But I maintain that there was nothing the coaches - or players - could have done to win the game. UW was simply the more talented team and they played fantastic. Better preparation, coaching, and execution could have made the score much more respectable but would not have changed the win-loss outcome.
