I don't care who's under center or who's at DL & ILB & DB.  If this OL can't block anyone this team's season will end in November (i.e., sub-.500 and no bowl game).

Bloomgren has now be OL & OC the last four seasons.  In 2013 & 2015 he had NFL talent on the line and they didn't need a full-time coach.  In 2014 with a lot of new and relatively inexperienced players, they struggled.  I see the same thing this year.

I really think Shaw needs to find someone to be a full-time OL coach.  Maybe combine TE & OC.  I doubt Bloomgren would take the demotion, and I'm not going to shed any tears if he left.

I concur.  Our key problem right now is the O line.  Without adequate blocking for QB protection and opening lanes for the running game, we are toast.

Given our deficiencies, some reorganization of coaching assignments seems reasonable.  Not sure what that specifically looks like.  I'm concerned that Tavita P., whose only experience as a player and a coach is at Stanford, doesn't have the breadth or depth of experience to develop our QBs, who look to need more help than Luck and Hogan did.
