Is this drop-off in Stanford-eligible athletes because more and more kids in Europe and abroad are foregoing rigorous academic study to develop their sports skills?Â
This seems to be the trend in the U.S. Look at something like Prolific Prep in Napa. It's a hoops development academy that offers kids schooling, but I'm not sure of its rigor. It's got to prepare athletes for the UC system, but does it even offer AP level courses?
