I pretty much agree with Winflop's assessment, but want to add that Grant played a great game off the bench. Our man defense could use some work and definitely gave up some wide open looks, but that's to be expected after spending so much time in the zone under JD. Hopefully that continues to improve along with the team. Not sure about you guys, but I'm actually excited about this year!
Good point about Grant, of whom I have been critical in the past. He shows signs of being a strong contributor off the bench. The other thing I liked is the energy of the team, and I think a part of that comes from a coach with a very different demeanor.
