My impression has been that Senior Day celebrates those who've persevered through their senior year (or a 5th year). So certainly no juniors who plan to declare for the draft and not come back, and surely no seniors who quit the team before the end of their senior year.
I imagine a senior who had to take a medical retirement but was still involved with the team might participate. Did that happen in WBB with Toni Kokenis? I can't remember.
