The latest coaching rumor is Charlie Strong as Oregon DC (if he doesn't get the HC job at USF).
Our toughest Pac 12 competitors have seemed to rotate (other than Oregon until this season), with ASU, UCLA and others seeming to emerge only to fall back after a strong season or two, but the emergence of UW seems somehow more permanent (perhaps because of Petersen?) - if there is staying power to WSU's/U$C's/Colorado's/Utah's resurgence, and if Taggart (and Strong, if that happens) can execute a quick re-power at Oregon, we could be in for some brutal, brutal Pac 12 schedules...
