Uh huh on the Bama thing. Bama is #4 in AP and Coaches' poll. The computers are probably going to keep them near Boise State too. If Bama has not stayed ahead of Boise, they will pass them when/if they beat Auburn.
This Week's BCS Standings SHOULD/COULD look like this...1) LSU, 2) OK State, 3) Stanford, 4a) Bama 4b) Boise
It looks as though Bama will be right there behind Ok State and Stanford. Both should be safe IF they go undefeated, but Bama is probably right in line for a rematch. Stanford will move up in the computer rankings as more teams lose down the stretch, so it should be OK. Getting to #2 in the two human polls probably will offset any softness in the computers.
FWIW - Stanford can't pass OK State. The computers all believe the Big 12 is BETTER THAN the SEC thanks to only 3 OOC losses. OK State plays Oklahoma, and that is better than Oregon in the eyes of the computers because Oklahoma's only loss was to a team that OK State also plays. I am not sure Oklahoma is better than Oregon, but Oklahoma is better to the computers. OK State controls its destiny, bottom line.
