What a great and well written story on Humphreys. I was happy we moved to 5-1 and thought it was key to our becoming consistent and our success. Now looking back, Humphreys has played an important new role on the court and this story hints at the importance of her role in helping define and strengthen the team, especially with her commitment and sacrifice to team over self.
My two favorite things during the match was her block and in the celebration scrum seeing her cry with joy. On a team of players that show a lot of fire and passion she is generally calm and stoic. But it came out then.
