As does Christian. But Elliott played in both the Sugar Bowl and the College Playoff national championship game. In fact, he was MVP in both, and was going to be a top five pick no matter what. But he still played, to the delight and respect of his teammates, his coaching staff and his fans. Dallas picked him #4.

Was he going to be a "top five pick no matter what" if he blew out his knee in the Sugar Bowl? Curious how you know that. The guy from ND, who was also going to be a "top five pick no matter what" played in his bowl exhibition, DID blow out his knee, and ended up...not a top five pick.
