The problem I have with all this is that the message being sent is that as soon as a college football player decides that the risks of getting injured are greater than the potential rise in his draft stock if he continues to play he should quit playing and bail on his team and his teammates. Apparently some people on the board would support this as a "rational and reasoned decision".
Not good for college football, IMO, and could eventually kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.
