Stanford now leads the published standings with 440 points.  UCLA second with 348 and North Carolina is in third with 320.

The Sun Bowl offers a chance to put more distance between us and the Tar Heels.  Stanford will score a minimum of 25 points with a loss and about 58 points with a win. 

Eight of the top 10 schools scored 50 points or more in WVB, making the national championship an important contributor to the lead over many of our closest competitors.
