Interesting statement from Elijah Hood, the UNC running back who will not be playing in the Sun Bowl but will return to college next year.

Reading between the lines, it seems Hood might have played if deemed necessary. To me, this is another data point that players (and perhaps coaches) do not see the Sun Bowl as that big of a game.
