Shaw is a great rep for the Stanford Ideal. A perfect CEO. Not many vice presidents became good presidents.

A few things drive me crazy, especially the delays and useless time outs. But that syndrome is known as Roman Disease and the virus passed on to Bloom and Shaw. Sparky Anderson was once quoted as preparing for two hitters beyond the guy at the plate. No excuse for not having the next play ready.

All in all not many observers thought that Shaw could pull off what he has accomplished.
