I haven't vetted the numbers, and also starting in 2012 is rather arbitrary, other than it results in a 5-year period.  However, if they hold up,it's pretty impressive.

Is it just a coincidence that 4 of the teams listed are from the Pac12? Or do Pac12 teams have really poor pass protection or play in schemes that allow more sacks?

I don't watch much non-Pac12 football, but doesn't the Big12 run as much "air raid" or more than us? But I guess we on margin have better defenders?
