OK but that was known before Christian signed his LOI. He willingly entered a system that both he and his father clearly understood. To turn around and blame that system well after the fact rings hollow to me. If Ed had made those statement explicitly at the time that Christian declared for the draft I might accept them as more than a well-after-the-fact attempt to explain a decision that I honestly don't think he expected would generate the reaction it did.
I lost more respect for Ed from listening to this interview than I did for Christian when he made his decision.
