I have it on good authority (from a Cardinal Coach) they think Phillips may just be the most talented "preferred" walk-on they have had as a coaching staff.  They will redshirt him, he'll add 30-40 pounds (he has the frame).  I was told they actually see him as a 3 year starter as an OLB, so let's not write him off quite yet. :) :)
