Stanford’s MacKenzie Little is in first place with a throw of 182 feet.  Gray is in fourth place with 159'10".  Third place is slightly over 160' so Gray is doing better than I expected. 

I read where Gray didn't start throwing  javelin until she was a junior in high school and her technique is far from traditional.  She probably has a big upside potential if she focused exclusively on javelin.
