So do we think Mercado will ever make it to the farm?

My reading of the quotations in this article is that it's not likely.

Beck not drafted was shocking as he was 2nd round on valid mock drafts

My guess, without any knowledge, is that this indicates either that Beck's injury is much worse than we have heard or he has indicated to teams he is planning to return to Stanford ... or both.
