Certainly the sense that she was estranged from her team leads me to think that she suffered additional consequences from the concussion that ought not to have been so.  If anything, that's when she would have needed her coaches and teammates the most.  That she was able to call upon friends to help her through dark times is a blessing--I certainly wished I had the understanding and humility to have leaned more on friends during hard times at Stanford.

Hopefully she'll remember her undergraduate years with fondness; there is certainly time enough to make good memories and live well at Stanford.
