I think many football fans, and not just Stanford fans,  are anxious to see what McCaffrey can do playing NFL ball.
Reggie Bush was probably that most recent high profile "multi threat" offensive player to enter the NFL, and that was a decade ago. Reggie's NFL career was "o.k.", he lasted 10 years which is well above average. But I think the expectations for McCaffrey are higher than than they were for Bush.

I'm not so sure about that.  Bush was long seen as a potential #1 overall pick, and he went #2 overall.  The hype was pretty incredible surrounding him, and I think he was expected to immediately be great.  He wasn't.  I think Christian's expectations are certainly high, and those of us on this board can't wait to see what he does, but I think the expectations for Bush were greater than they are for Christian.  Maybe not by much, but greater.
