Very little.  But we rarely hear about Stanford freshmen, other than the occasional skill player like McCaffrey or Love.  And Stanford defensive linemen ususally don't emerge until their third year in the program.

This may be true, but this doesn't mean it has to or should be this way.  Wade-Perry brings a physical profile to Stanford I haven't ever seen in my lifetime.  The movement skills he demonstrated on his highlight videos are rare for someone his size.  I don't see DWP as a typical Stanford DL recruit.  Yes, Solomon Thomas was a 5-star recruit, but he was undersized, and Harrison Phillips did play as a True Frosh - granted out of necessity not choice - with not nearly the physical abilities as Wade-Perry.

OK, so failing hearing anything about DWP, how about Bo Peek, the RS Frosh who seems to be the backup to Phillips?
