Visit the Rocks and have a pint in the old pubs--Fortune of War, Mercantile, Lord Nelson.

Take the ferry to the Zoo and/or Manly.

Cook your own steak at Phillips Foote in the Rocks or The Oaks in Neutral Bay.

Dine in Chinatown Sydney.

Have a seafood lunch in Watson's Bay.

Lots of BYO dining where you bring your own wine and pay a small corkage.

Kings Cross is tame now. 

Difficult not to have a great time in Sydney.

Wish I could be there for the game.  Lived in Sydney for 10 years.

I think I'm the only Aussie on this board, but I'm a Melburnian, not a Sydneysider, so my advice might be pretty biased...

The one thing I'd recommend if you have the time is to take the train up to the Blue Mountains - check out Katoomba or go bushwalking to see the Three Sisters.

I'd also check if there are any interesting concerts on at the opera house one evening (it's not just opera - I've seen several bands perform there over the years).
