The defending national champions start the season with 3 matches in Long Beach this weekend vs. LB State, Iowa and Wright State. Following that are non-conference matches vs. Penn State (twice), Texas A&M and Illinois before the Pac 12 season begins.
It's a new era for WVB. John Dunning retired, Kevin Hambly comes to Stanford from Illinois. Inky Ajanaku and Kelsey Humphreys graduated. Ivana Vanjak, Hayley Hodson and Halland McKenna are no longer playing VB at Stanford. The team is very young with only one senior, Merete Lutz.Â
