Per the previous discussions about whether Costello was over-hyped -- I think he is who is was supposed to be. Given how Shaw tends to operate he won't be starting this year (or maybe/likely next year either) unless Chryst gets hurt or regresses, but I am now more comfortable about QB depth. He looked like a player.
