Not really:
Griffin's thrown a TD pass in 9.79% of his passes, with a pick 1.44% of his passes; his yards per attempt are an insane 10.60. Weeden's thrown a TD pass 6.99% of his passes, with a pick 2.46% of his passes; his yards per attempt are a slightly less insane 8.46. That's just the throwing part; Griffin's given his team 612 tough yards on the ground; Weeden, on net, is -11. Griffin's put up one of the most absurd statistical seasons ever; Weeden's merely a very good quarterback whose really good statistics are in large part a creation of his receivers.
And, of course, Griffin's been around and pretty excellent for a while. Not quite this level of excellence, but he averaged nearly 8 ypa in his other two full seasons, chipping in at least 600 yards rushing in each of them.
