CTCard, you are going to have to watch the game to understand what was happening in the 2nd half.  Stanford began to substitute linemen AND QBs on EVERY play.  Honestly, it began to look effective as Stanford scored a FG and a TD and was more successful on 3rd down.

But the offense stalled with a chance to run down the clock in the 4th quarter.

It won't take you that long to watch Stanford's offense in the 2nd half.  Stanford only had 4 total possessions and one of those was a one play drive that ended in an INT.  Including the INT, Stanford only ran 19 plays in the 2nd half.
