We just need a QB that can keep defenses honest by hitting open receivers while avoiding a pass rush.  This will allow Love to do his thing.  And, his thing is beautiful.

Well put. It would be great if the QB could do more, but he MUST be able to reliably take what is there and move the chains. It also helps to audible out of bad play calls, but we can live without that if we must. We can't live without basic competence in execution.
