I'm glad this topic is mainly over now other than watching how Rosen's pro performance/persona backs-up or contradicts our assumptions.  I don't follow Rosen that closely; Shaw made his decision and moved on and I guess I did too.  But I think DC 86 is right on target about all the negative hype we give the guy without much first-hand knowledge.

Correct. Very few of us have first hand knowledge of Rosen. Just what we read and what we watch.

How many here have met Mora? How about "Purple Face"? "Front Butt"? Some pretty awful stuff written by the folks here about those guys and countless others. First hand knowledge? I doubt it. How about Trump? Lots of people have made up their minds about him over his tweets. How many have actually met the man? First hand knowledge, in this world, or frankly, any other is irrelevant.

So please, cut the sanctimonious crap about who one likes and doesn't like. We all have our somewhat justified opinions based on what we see and read.

Tom Brady, a great quarterback, appears to be far too smug for my tastes, so I don't like the guy.
Alex Smith, an okay quarterback, seems like a good guy and got hosed by the Niners so I root for him.
Richard Sherman, extremely loud, obnoxious, and annoying, but he's smart, donates a ton, and played for Stanford, so he's a good guy.

I could go on and on.
