Interestingly Connelly rate's USC's performance against us as only 78%. Even the offense was only 87%. I certainly thought it would be higher than that, given that it took them over a quarter to have an unsuccessful play. I wonder if his formula docks them for not being all that explosive.
And we're definitely a weird team this year, but it's interesting that advanced stats love our offense but are meh on our defense, I think most fans would say the defense is better currently.
