That’s hilarious.  I was going to post this Detroit Free Press article calling the UM coaching staff, among other things, “stubborn”.  Hmmm, where have I seen that accusation before.

Unfortunately, coaches are in a no-win situation.  When things don’t go well, as they didn’t on Saturday for Harbaugh, it is so easy to, post facto, say that the coach should have zagged when he zigged.  If he sticks to his guns, he’s stubborn; if he tries something new, he’s panicky or was “too quick to abandon his bread and butter”.

Good coaches have bad games.  Harbaugh is still a great coach for Michigan, and light years better than anything else they can get.

Agree. I think for some people, bitterly complaining and thinking they are smarter than the coaches is part of the "fun" of being a fan.
As a coach, my father would sometimes complain about the no win situation. If you lose, of course you are a lousy coach. If you win it's "well, look at the talent on that team, anyone could win with that". (I think we've heard that once or twice about the 2015 team with CMac).
