I`ve figured it out! Shaw is not stubborn by sticking to his plan, he just has the worst possible view of the action on the field and needs to move to the press box. How else can you explain not replacing KC last week and all the same running plays this week? The failure over the YEARS to adjust IN GAME?
Why are offensive coordinators positioned there??? Shaw calls the plays, MOVE UP or give up the play calling!
What would Stanford lose by not having Shaw on the sideline?
-motivate the players? Nope, not his job (per Shaw)
-get on the officials? Nope, not MR. Nice Guy (ask Lex)
