Another awesome stat is that we were 10 for 18 on 3rd downs and 1 for 1 on 4th down.  Now that's getting it done offensively. And, that was again one of the top Ds in the nation.

Yes, our third and fourth down conversion rate was key to the offense.  Moreover, a lot of those third downs were of the third and seven or third and eight variety, so not high probability conversions.  That we were able to convert them was a testament mostly to Costello, who mostly found the right guy in the right place and made the right throw.  Kudos too to the OL for largely keeping his pocket clean.
