Didn't Jennifer Aniston's character pitch a Gulden's mustard campaign all about second place in 1997's Picture Perfect? Am I the only one that saw that movie? I feel like it was at Flicks my sophomore year.Â
I seem to remember that one of the common storylines in Toby's Heisâman year was the fact that "Alabama had ânever had a Heisâman winner", so some voters felt that they should rectify the history books. It couldn't hurt to raise awareness that Stanford has had so many bridesmaids and no brides in the last decade.Â
I like the idea of poking fun at the whole thing by embracing the second place finish, but I'm always wary of assuming anything before the final votes come in.
