We have struggled against solid runners all year, so I am worried about Adams. I think our best bet would be for us to get ahead early and have Kelly abandon a running game that is pulling off 5-10 yards every time Adams touches the ball.
It happened in our games against Oregon (they gained 276 yards on 6.4 yards per cary but only scored 7 points), Washington (135 yards on 4.1 ypc, but scoring 22), and Cal (155 yards on 5.5 ypc, but scoring only 14).
