BC, someone on the other site noted that Costello had the third highest QBR in all of FBS football, per ESPN.
I'll stick with my belief that O underperformed to talent - but of course, it is a subjective evaluation, as is your opinion (no matter how many stats you throw around). And as previously noted, if you think you have good offensive talent, I don't understand the purpose behind taking the air out of the ball, so to speak, with most snaps coming with 3 or fewer seconds left on the play clock. [And before you all credit the staff for doing this due to an average defense, recall that this has been the MO for the entire regime - even when Stanford had stellar defenses].
Don't want hurry up all the time (though occasionally would be okay); don't want spread. But would love an attempt to bust out the O from Circa 2000 when Husak QBed the team to a Rose Bowl.
