Gee, where could Shaw find someone who was intimately familiar with the 2000 (Rose Bowl) and 2001 (Seattle Bowl) pro-style offenses that had great balance and put up impressive/dominant numbers?  And someone who has NFL playing experience?  Look up, in the sky, no - not there.  Look up at the booth.  Look at the guy who was quite perceptively pointing out the flaws in this Stanford offense on-air.

Last time I bang that drum (I promise).

Besides, I fully expect an internal promotion for OC, followed by a newbie hire for the added spot.  No ripples.  Same 'ol, same 'ol.  I might actually have to protest in my own little financial way, by buying fewer season tickets next year.

But for now, I'll continue to support the program, and look forward to seeing all of the fine Cardboard posters in San Antonio.  Oh wait . . . what do you mean you're not going?
