Best local example I can think of is Tedford. Went from being a “brilliant “ play caller to predictable etc.

One of the reasons I look year to year is based on the assumption that one doesn’t suddenly learn or forget how to coach. Thus Willingham can have the 62nd best scoring offense in 08. The 9th best in ‘99 and the 70th  best in 2000.  Followed by the 12th best in 2001.  Wildly inconsistent. Why.  Well I’m guessing he had better talent in 99 and 01.
