Also my first year at Stanford. Randy Vataha had the quickest cut to the sideline I can ever remember seeing. Throughout the game Plunkett would hit him over and over on that move and then there would come the inevitable pump fake and Vataha would turn it up. Ralston had a sense of drama in his play-calling. It was the most fun season I have ever had as football fan.
