One slight correction. Beban won the H in 1967. I believe the UCLA QB in '69 was Dennis Dummit.
I still think the '69 team was better than either of the RB teams.

Yeah, the '69 team was three plays away from being undefeated (and untied). The two point conversion pass against Purdue, the field goal by U$C, and the blocked field goal against UCLA.
