Nevers, Plunkett, and Walters were all consensus All Americans.
Nevers was not unanimous in 1925 because the United Press chose Jacob Slagle of Princeton at FB, and the Football Writers didn't choose a fullback (they picked four halfbacks).
Plunkett was not unanimous in 1970 because the AP chose Joe Theismann of Notre.Dame as the 1st team QB.
Walters was not unanimous in 1999 because the AFCA (football coaches) chose Peter Warrick of Florida St. and Dennis Northcutt of Arizona as the WRs.
