IMO, the primary factors were:
1. He wanted to play with his HS QB, whom he knows will get him the ball. For those who can remember back to the 70's, think Pat Haden and JK McKay.
2, He wants to get to the NFL as soon as possible. This is more important to him than the "40 year decision".
3. His personality is more suited to U$C. Anyone catch his on the field antics during the Army AA game, which drew him an Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty?
Unfortunately for us, the guy can play. Not looking forward to having to face him for three years.
