This might be a bit early, but it's curious that Phillips, Reid, and Meeks are all declaring for the draft from a pretty mediocre defense. Obviously OK teams might have stellar individuals, but it raises an eyebrow when a substantial percentage of a unit is pro-ready and yet said unit performs average, at best.

I think when you factor out the substantial injury issues that plagued us this year, our defense was well above mediocre.
